It is not every day a musician of such international renown comes to Denver for a workshop and concert of this nature. Even if you cannot participate in the workshop and perform in the concert, consider coming to the concert. Matthias is conducting one of his own compositions, as well as conducting a work by Eric Haas, which was the 2018 Play the Recorder composition. The Denver Recorder Society is excited to announce, in partnership with the ARS, Colorado Recorder Orchestra, Regis University and the Quebec Conseil des Arts et des Lettres that we are hosting Matthias Maute in Denver for the Colorado Recorder Rally. As you will see in the files below, this is an exciting workshop and concert with this internationally renown virtuoso recorder soloist who is also a flautist, conductor and composer.
