Wednesday, December 16 at 1:30pm

December 16, 1770:  birthdate of Ludwig van Beethoven.

That was 250 years ago, and this year, the exact anniversary falls on a Wednesday. Lone Tree Arts Center will honor the occasion with a Beethoven-themed online Arts in the Afternoon program. We’ll welcome the Ivy Street Ensemble – violinist Erik Peterson, violist Phillip Stevens, and special guest, pianist William David – with concert host Betsy Schwarm. You’ll have to provide your own birthday cake, but we’ll have the music, streaming it live to your computer. Please join our celebration of the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth!  Buy Tickets

Parish House Baroque
The Italian Influence
Virtual Concert
Join the musicians of Parish House Baroque as we trace the Italian style across Europe in works by Merula, Pla, Telemann, LeClair, Mondonville, and Pachelbel.
In conjunction with Grace and St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church’s Taylor Concert Series, this concert will premiere on Parish House Baroque's YouTube Page on Sunday, November 29, 2020 at 3 PM, MST.
We will follow this with a virtual “Meet and Greet the Musicians” on the same day at 4:30 PM through Zoom. Join the artists of Parish House Baroque and ask us anything! We’re happy to chat. Discuss the latest program, how we’re adjusting as musicians in a pandemic, about our instruments and what makes them different from modern instruments, or anything that comes to mind. To attend this free event, click here.
